Create your specific Loquiz results page for your own use-case with Vibe Coding

Loquiz has a set of standardized result pages. They cover the main use cases, but they have their limitations.

Loquiz has also had API access to player-generated data. So serious users have created custom leaderboards that are hosted on their own servers. This allows you to display a leaderboard on your marketing website and also design it exactly as needed for the game mechanics.

Using full API implementation allows you to achieve a variety of things, but the downside is that, as API keys are used, this needs to be a server-side implementation, usually. So it needs developer input, usually.

However, now with the rise of Vibe Coding, a term coined by Andrey Karpathy, it is possible for anybody to put together a simple HTML web page.  If you have been thinking about developing a concept-specific leaderboard or displaying leaderboards on your marketing website, but you have not had the resources to do that, then now it might be the perfect time to dig into that.

In short, Vibe Coding is coding with the help of AI agents, and usually so that you do not even look at the code. Depending on your aim, it might be a good or bad thing, but it definitely helps to get things done fast.

Be aware that Loquiz player data is public unless the game is CLOSED or in game settings, specific result areas are ticketed off. So if you do not want the data to be available, please CLOSE the games not in use, or better yet, DELETE them altogether.

The effect of having public data is that you can easily generate your own custom result page that extracts information from your Loquiz game (referred to by game ID).  So you could do things like use your own custom design, extract data from multiple games, make custom galleries, etc. Learn more here about data safety.

We have prepared instructions for LLMs on how to utilize the open API of Loquiz, and in future series, we will walk you through the process of creating simple and later more complicated result pages that exactly fit your needs.

Stay tuned!

Example of custom results pages made with Vibe Coding

Here are a few examples of custom results pages for your Loquiz game. In each case, you’ll find a tutorial that explains how to recreate for yourself the same HTML pages with your favorite AI agent.

  1. Minimalistic results page: Have a leaderboard showing the teams, ranking, and points.
  2. Multi-game results page: Does your event use several Loquiz games? Compile all the results into one leaderboard.
  3. TikTok-like results page: If your game has a lot of media, create an interface where you can scroll through pictures and videos. It’s fun!
