Event safety – Mapping event risks

We at Loquiz take safety seriously and we hope you take too. Threats are hiding in the places where they are not instantly visible. So generating basic risk map for the activity in general and separate risk map for the specific area is a worthwhile exercise to improve your event safety.

Risk map will help you and your co-instructors be aware of major risks and have some processes in place to manage them. Loquiz is providing companies with the tools to run events so here is our due diligence – an approach that you can use to build your own Risk map for an activity.

We are talking about the risks in wider meaning – everything that can affect your event, not just the risks to participants health or life. To put it simply – the risks that things do not work out as planned.

Take a look on this printable Safety matrix to think through and manage risks at your events!
Also feel free to share in the comments what kind of evaluation methods you have used.
