Your own images as pins – custom pin icons feature

It is now possible to go bananas! Well,  you can literally add any image as a pin icon in Loquiz whether it is a berry or not. This opens up an amazing opportunity to personalize your games and theme them.

When you create a question then the steps are the following:
1) Create the question. Write the text  of the question.
2) Choose the question type
3) Go to the question’s Additional settings tab, choose a New custom icon4) Give pin a name. Upload an image. png above 200 x 200 pixels with a transparent background will look the neatest. 5) Click on the image to set the position which marks the  radius center spot of the pin.
6) Create an icon, Save the question.

While creating the game depending on the image, try increasing the radius a bit to indicate the area within the question will open. With unevenly shaped and square pin images radius helps  players to understand what area they have to enter to make the question open.

The transparent radius will look in same cases better- as in the  example below the apple and smiley are. Definitely test out!

Whether you want to enter on the icon photos of participants` faces, animals, historical creatures or objects – the tool to do it is now available. We will keep you posted about ideas and resources for custom pin icons feature.
