What if something happens?

What is your biggest fear as an instructor running the game with technological gadgets?

Mine has been: “What if the technology fails?“ Is it „go home“ or „start from the beginning“ type of trouble. Or can something be done to solve the situation? So that the team in question can still have fun as planned.

In Loquiz we have taken this risk into consideration. Should you by mistake close the game.  Player is asked do you really want to do this?

And even if you do it, there is a way to continue the last game next time you start Loquiz.  Even if the device software freezes and you need to restart the entire device. Just start Loquiz application,  choose CONTINUE LAST GAME and you are good to go.

No worries, but…

what happens if the device itself breaks? Or it gets stolen? Or the most likely scenario of battery running out for some peculiar reasons?

Is it “all-is-finished” type of trouble or could you just give out new device and continue the game from the exact point where the team was with all the statistics intact?

As we have all the data in the server during the game, it is possible to continue the game on any device running Loquiz at any time. So you just start new game with special prefix in the starting code and the game continues. Read more about it in Loquiz support

So there is a way should you ever need it.  No worries 🙂
