Spring is already here, and companies are seeking outdoor events. In these challenging economic times, it’s important for people to take a break, have fun outside, and enjoy the sunshine. That’s why we’ve just released our latest game template: Misfits Hunt!
In this game, you’ll solve original riddles and negotiate with others; all while enjoying the outdoors. If you have a Loquiz account, you can run this game and customize it however you like!
Each team begins with a few cards in hand (from 3 to 7 cards per team). Scan a card, and a Misfit riddle becomes available. In fact, all the riddles follow the same pattern:
Each of the Misfits cards gives a riddle that follows the same pattern. 7 special cards give additional challenge (such as object finder, odometer, etc). In the next paragraph, try to solve one of the numerous riddles from this game!
What image is a misfit to these 5 pictures?
The plane! Because it doesn’t swim, unlike the subjects of the other pictures.
But these riddles are not the only game mechanics. You might solve all your cards, but you would fall behind in the ranking if you don’t do one thing:
Once you’ve used a card… You can trade it. If you only focus on solving, you’ll never get on top of the leaderboard. However, if you communicate with others and make win-win trades, then you’ll unlock as many Misfit locations as possible… So you’ll earn many more points than others!
Before the game begins: Print the full set of 35 misfit cards. Distribute them randomly among teams.
Then? Instruct every team member to start the Loquiz game on their device using their Loquiz app (Google Play or Appstore). You can also distribute your own device to them.
The game can start! The duration is 60 minutes by default. However, you can change it so the game fits with your customer’s timetable.
Here are some different types of players who would enjoy the game in their event:
