A short intro can now be displayed on the pin much more flexibly. You can set multiple combinations to inform players.
The short intro as well an Intro are both something players will see before they even go to the location.
The short intro now works in combination with a score, question order or nothing. So the combinations what info you can show to the players on the pins in a game are:
+Nothing i.e. just pins
+The question order
+The question score
+Nothing and the question intro i.e just the intro
+The question intro and order
+The question intro and score
The short info is like its name says, short (up to 25 letters).
What can the short intro say?
-What to do, where to go?: scan QR, scan soda “pop”; find Joey; go inside cafe;
-nature of tasks: math, nature, photo, geography, team, leadership, communication, creativity etc.
-letters or numbered codes: in some game structures you need to label pins with Letters like A, B or A1, B1 etc.(Although you could use custom pins with letters or symbols.)
Pro tip. When you are writing short intros then think through if you also want to add a long intro. This is shown when a player taps on the pin. So the player can get more info about the location and question before even going there. This question could have short intro “Tap on me!”
