There is a feature built into Loquiz that shows the game progress in a table online.
More about it in older post.
So far it has been a tool for an instructor. It is possible to see the teams progress in a game and much easier for the instructor to announce the winners.
Last week one of our partners had an event near Tartu Estonia where they used the table as online tool. Game was open for participation several hours. Teams could come and play their game. Their results would appear in a table so everybody could be up to date where they stand.
Technically the feature works real-time. When the team starts the game and enters team name the team appears in the results table. Every time they answer the question, their progress is updated. Web-page updates automatically, so just hook a large screen to your computer, navigate to the results page and you are all set.
The important bit of information lies in a fact that it works for people. It is kind of cool to see how you and others are doing. Also the people who at first did not participate might get a push to go on track.
So instead of just being a tool for the instructor, the results table might come in handy for larger events without the mass-start and also for intro events in tourism fares or wherever you decide to introduce your company locally.
