Smart devices in outdoor industry

Here is a really cool graph I got from a partner with a license to publish it. The company in question runs around 600+ events per year. This chart only shows the outdoor games that include navigation of some kind and use either GPS, maps or photos for that.

They got rid of GPS devices two years ago and this year the Photohunts were converted to smart devices. Many of the games are run solely using tablets or phones, but in many cases the tablet is just a tool among offline exercises. This kind of integration is exactly what Loquiz is built for.

Even though the tools used are smart devices, the games are not “tablet games”. They are outdoor games using the advantages that tablets offer, but still have plenty of natural stuff to make it a true adventure.
