We can sell Loquiz City games through ticketing platforms. The flow is simple: players visit your website, purchase one or more tickets, download the Loquiz app, and then start the game at the designated location.
In reality, how does it happen exactly? What message do we tell them? Do we share a QR code or username/password? If we miss one step, we can confuse the players, and they might give up on playing your game.
So let’s see in detail how we instruct the players to start a Loquiz City Game from a ticket.

First of all, the players will navigate the website. It could be yours (through Shopify or WordPress), or any platform (Groupon, Viator, etc.). The future players likely want something to entertain their family in their own location or in a city they’re visiting. In that step, ensure the following:
If you automate your selling process well, future players will immediately receive the instructions by email, which is the next step.
If you still don’t know how to automate this selling process, you’ll need a developer. Show them this page, and they’ll understand how to set it up. If you need more information, feel free to contact me.
In their instruction email, the player should receive the instructions. Here’s one template that I recommend:
Hi [Players name], Thank you for purchasing our [Game name]. To start it, please follow these instructions: Download the Loquiz app: iOS or Android Go to the game location: [Google Map link to the starting location] Open the Loquiz app on your device and input these: [username] [password] Have fun! If you have any trouble, please contact us at [phone number] or reply to this email. Best regards, [Your name]
This template is very generic. Your game, your company, and your preferred language may require changes to its content. If you use this template, make sure to adapt it to your specific context. However, it should include all the information players need to get started, presented in the correct order.
Indeed, the players should download the app first (wherever they have network/wifi), then go to the location and start their city tour.
The players can start the game! If they successfully input the username/password, they can start right away.
In the intro message, make sure you add the following details:
No need to add more; the intro text should be too heavy. Indeed, your players may be impatient to start what they’ve bought; it’s better not to make the wait any longer.
Then your player can start having fun with your game!
So I’ve detailed 3 steps of the player flow, from the moment they purchase a ticket to the moment they start the game. I made it quite concise, but this should generally apply to most situations. If you have any questions about how to set it up, or if you need guidance on automation, feel free to contact me!
