Do you want to build a linear tour with Loquiz and sell it? This template is what you need: The Creator Logic allows the player to go from point to point until the end. Besides, if you’re interested in visiting the beautiful city-state of Monaco, this tour is also for you!
In this article, I’ll show you this Monaco tour, then I’ll explain how to create your own linear tour.

This template allows you to visit Monaco. Nice, isn’t it? With this, you can walk on the entire racetrack, as long as there’s no ongoing race. It’s always fun to see this road in real life and imagine F1 racecars going at 300 kilometers per hour in narrow streets!

You can also try the tour from your couch. No need to be in Monte-Carlo physically: Just tap the different icons. Convenient, isn’t it?
First of all, download the Loquiz app (Android or iOS). Then open the app and accept the different permissions. Input the following username/password OR press “Or scan QR to log in”, so you scan this QR code:

This tour template is actually meant for something else: You can just reuse the whole mechanism to build a tour in your own location.
So, let’s say you want to create a simple tour: The visitors follow one path. They have a series of checkpoints: In each of them, they have quizzes to solve or photos to take.

Using the Monaco Tour, you can create that linear tour very quickly. Just follow the next steps:
Go to your Loquiz account (create one for free if you don’t have one), then go to this page. It’s a template, so you can copy a game to your account. Click on the blue button “New game from template”.
Before copying the game, you’ll be able to edit the tour. On the config page, feel free to rewrite everything so that it fits with your own location and your language.

Now go to the “Creator” page. You’ll see the whole logic, a map, and a task list. You do not need to edit the game logic. Currently, let’s just move all pins to the map.

Still on the same page, you have access to the tasks. Either on the bottom right of the screen, or you’ll need to click on the star icon “Tasks” on the bottom of the screen (if you’re editing on a mobile phone).

Click on each task to clone and edit it. Use quiz questions that are related to the actual location that your players are visiting. Find nice quiz questions that make them interact.

What if you want different colors?
If you go back to the Config page, you’ll have a few things you can edit for the design. You can change the button color.

In the main config page, you can also change the logo.

Additionally, you can change the map color so that it fits your tour’s branding and identity. I made a step-by-step guide for custom maps on this article.

I concisely presented the visual customization features. But I made an article that explores what’s possible to brand your tour or game. Check it out here.
Last but not least, you might need to adapt your tour’s language. English is a universal language, but you might want to attract different tourists. Let’s say you want to change the game language to Czech. You can change the game language from the main config page (same as logo) and edit your own language in this page. Learn more about the game language here.
