Whether you are fan of Science channels “How It’s made?” series or just curious to know about processes that make things work, here is general overview of how games you create with Loquiz come to life. It involves different data (questions-games you create and game scores that come from players tablets) exchanges between devices.
In short the process is following.
You create your questions and games in web-browser. All the data is saved in cloud server.
When playing, the game is downloaded to tablets through mobile network (alternatively wifi can be used). Everything except photos and videos are downloaded at the start of the event so even if player looses connection game continues. Mobile devices calculate the location using GPS. Game progress is sent back to the server and the results can be viewed online.
