A useful measurement tool has arrived! :)

Good news! Not long ago, we shared some opportunities on how to measure the game area. https://loquiz.com/blog/2019/12/how-to-measure-the-game-area/ . But now it is great to let you know that there is a measurement tool in Pro with what you can measure the whole game area, distance from pin to pin and degrees angle from one point to another.

The polyline measure tool gives an opportunity to prepare outdoor games with smaller efforts. You can take your experience from the past while laying on collected data about the game area in a specific location. Using this information while marking locations down in a new area will or at least should become smoother.

While using the tool, you can measure the distance around all pin locations. You can delete a line by pressing “shift” and clicking on the mark which is between the lines.

Check briefly about this tool from here:

Red box:

Blue box:
1 – distance from first to the last mark
2 – distance from the previous mark to the current mark
3 – degrees from the previous mark to the current one
4 – degrees from current mark to the next one

You can find out more about Polyline Measure here: https://ppete2.github.io/Leaflet.PolylineMeasure/

It is good to keep in mind: before you start fully relying on the game area, test the game and collect practical data. Also, take into account different landscape: the elevation lines as moving up and down requires more time and energy than walking on flat ground.

Feel free to share your experience how you prepare outdoor games in a sense of the game area 😉
