1.1. Game Status OPEN/CLOSED
In order to start the games the status needs to be open. After playing we advise change the status -closed. Then nobody can start the game and this event will not be shown on in device (when you log in with your PRO account). Event results are not accessible if the game is closed.
1.2. Game username and password
Unique username that can be used to access the game in the mobile devices. Username needs to be unique. This can be as simple as you want it to be as it only affects starting the game. Username can be changed in the edit game-configuration tab.
When players log in with game-specific username and password, then they can only see and open this particular game. Password can be changed in the edit game-configuration tab.
1.3. Quick Start QR Code
In the app login view, there is an option of launching the games with a QR code. The QR code scanner is built-in and doesn’t require an external app for scanning.
1.4. Results Page
Results page is page where game organizer can get the game results. Available data is: Team name, Team Members names, Correct/incorrect answers, hints, Distance what is traveled, start time and playtime, results task by task.
1.5. Game Info
Over here you can find some important information about the game.
Intro: Is shown to the players at the start of the game. This text can be accessed throughout the game from app side menu > info. Use it for game rules, important information and safety notice.
What kind of template or game type has been used for this specific game.
Language option determines in what language the APP texts (user interface) are shown to the players. All the app help texts, scores, info, etc are presented in this language.
This does not translate tasks’ texts.
If there is a Time limit for the gameplay. The timer is shown in the game upper right corner. Game ends when the timer reaches zero. If you do not set the limit (no limit) then the game goes on until all questions are answered. Except for scavenger game type- where the game ends when players answer finish.
1.6 Rules
Under the rules tab, you can find different kind of game-specific information, which gives you a good overview of a game before you go to an event.
Under the Rules tab, you can also find QR codes for task activation. Click on this to download QR-codes for each question in the game. Each QR code is unique, activating specific questions. The Code scanner is in the Loquiz app main menu.
