Task points are used for scoring in Quiz, Clue, Rogain, Match and Scavenger game types. Scoring is ignored in Strategy games (instead penalty points are used). To change task\u2019s points, go to the \u201cTask\u201d tab while creating\/editing your task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The default score value is 1 but you can set tasks to give 0 points or even negative points (-100).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By default Loquiz players will collect shown amount of points for correct answers. By default, incorrect answers give 0 points, but it is also possible to make incorrect answers give negative points. To do it, you need to change settings while creating\/editing the game, just go to \u201cConfigure\u201d page and under \u201cGame settings\u201d choose \u201cIncorrect answers give negative points\u201d. If the task score is negative then both correct and incorrect answers give negative points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Negative points are used to create zones where players should not go in Rogain or Match game type. To create a \u201ctoll zone\u201d create \u201cno answer\u201d type of task and set a negative value to it. When a player goes to the zone, a task which can be only answered correctly (as it is no answer) pops up and therefore the player is awarded negative points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Task points are displayed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When a task difficulty is set to zero (0 points), then the points are automatically hidden in task, list view and after answer comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Text for Points in after answer comments is also translatable in the Translate tab.
